TOYOTA
Toyota’s is the largest automobile
corporation in Japan, and the second largest auto maker in the world. Toyota tests,
manufactures, designs, sell, and services vehicles and vehicle components.
Toyota markets their vehicles in over 170 countries. In 1957 Toyota establish their
first operation in the united state, and currently operate 10 manufacturing
plant in the united state.
The Philosophy of long term thinking,
Toyota bases their management decisions on a long term philosophy. Acting this
way is improving the company as a whole. “Toyota was not short term gain but
looking beyond that to grow the company and do what is right for employees,
customers, and society.”(liker).
Build a culture of stopping to fix problems
to get quality right the first time. Toyota goes to stop their production line when
there is a problem, not like Ford or GM which they counties their production
line when they face a quality problem. Toyota understand when face a problem to
face it in short term so it won’t appear in long term.
Grow
leaders who thoroughly understand the work, live the philosophy, and teach it
to others. Toyota treats their employee’s right, and promotes them. Taking their
experience and teach it to others. Toyota believes that you cannot get
exceptional teams without hiring and training exceptional people.
Toyota worked in changing people
view of the company, and made them understand why Toyota is the best car, by challenging
their team of getting the best cars with the best quality that fit every one. So
now people all over the world trusting Toyota and they able to buy one without
being scared or questioning themselves about the product and the quality.
